Screening of “Drawing on Film” Workshops with Live Orchestra

Working in partnership with Greenwich Comedy Festival and Royal Borough of Greenwich this fantastic project offers a group of young people the opportunity to learn about the world of comedy, develop their own material and stage persona while gaining insight into one of the many alternative futures available to them. The workshops, taking place during the comedy festival, will explore writing comedy and performance skills as well as the history of comedy and the effects it has on society. The group will also attend a series of Masterclasses given by professional comedians who share their own stories, offer advice and give their tips for the future.

During the workshops each person, with the support and guidance of experts, will be developing and working towards the showcase performance which takes place on the last day of the comedy festival. The overall project provides and inclusive environment where young people can work together to recognise their potential and achieve their goals.
